On Sunday, September 23rd, at about 8:44 A.M., Modesto Police officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of Maple Street, Jorge Amador-Molina, a 57-year-old Modesto resident, was found deceased. Amador-Molina was discovered when new renters arrived to move in. The new renters were going to live in the home with Amador-Molina. Amador-Molina was found to have been a victim of a violent assault and preliminary autopsy results indicated Amador-Molina died as a result of a fatal stab wound. Modesto Police homicide investigators have had limited investigative leads in this case and are hoping to identify and speak to a possible witness who may be able to provide investigators with possible additional leads. Detectives have learned that on Friday, September 21st, Amador-Molina visited the Launderland, which is located at 328 I Street and the Max Value Store, which is located at 415 Paradise Road. Surveillance video from both businesses showed Amador-Molina accompanied by an unknown Hispanic male adult in his 20s. Police are attempting to identify this individual and would like to speak to him as to what, if anything, he may know about the death of Amador-Molina.
